Lodged paper base application on 24 th July through vfs sylhet bangladesh, singapore office rcvd on 27th ...medical requested on 7th august, completed on 9th, after linking offline app with cic online account on 15th august found out that passed medical test ..... Now waiting for further update since status shows app is under review, background check. And processing :-(

Guys....after requesting medical what are the chances for refusal other than medical reasons? Here in BD max gets refusal letter w/o even asking for medical only few gets refused after doing medical even that's not for medical complicacy.

I haven't applied yet. Missed out on this year because offer letter came too late. I have to wait another year now because they only have one intake.

Background check is lengthy I heard. No exact numbers but apparently upto 2-3 months
And yes, heard also cases like being refused after medical.

2/3 months!!!!? Processing time for Bangladeshi students show 3/4 weeks.

I have completed hon's n masters in English literature. Teaching experience 5+ years. Currently working as an exam invigilator in British council Bangladesh. Ielts 7.5....offered for MEd in leadership from Acadia university with 4500 CAD research assistantship. Funds required CAD 37000 AND I SHown funds available CAD 1,18,000 approximately.

that processing time on CIC..IS A JOKE!!!! There is not one student who got their visa from BD in 3-4 weeks time. It's not upto date. And I am still on hold. Can't apply till next year.

Cause I know one girl who got refused after 18 days and one guy who got approval on 28th day but took another 8-12 days to get his visa stamped....anyways I guess there's nothing to do except to wait....I have been offered from UNB for next intake...if decision is against me I am planning to appeal....if visa is delayed I will differ.....let's see......how about you? I am on hold. Missed out on This year intake. Because visa processing time is way too long. Going for next year and sure will be refused. I have very complicated case

Why u think u will b refused? What are the complications? Do share if it's OK with u.

Tell me something.......have submitted original police clearance certificate at the time of application submission on 24th July.....but since online linking on 15th august why does it still says processing background check!!! Almost a month since I submitted. Any idea why background chk is nt getting updated or how long it might take! Eligibility still shows reviewing.

Where did you apply from? For what programme and which uni/college?

When did u complete ur medical?

Did u apply online if not then did u link ur application over cic.gc.ca? U can find the step by step status there. What does the VFS trck# shows?

U can wait or try to check ur status in CIC....since its been 6 weeks beyond passed approximate processing time as per CIC u can send enquiry email to Singapore visa office. U can also request the same via IRCC web form for status update.

I don't bliv sending n enquiry email will result in rejection. Fyi September session is the busiest in the year so SG visa office gets piles if applications during May-july.

Hopefully u will get the result soon. Gosh I submitted my application 6 days after u got medical req....I wonder when will I get any further update!!!

My classes will start from 6th :-(

Around 4500/- ....can't remember exact..... Better to get an appointment prior to go for the tests. Tests Will b done within 2/3hrs max in case there's a rush n u need to wait. Results will b generated same day....will get checked next day....final report will b issued on 3rd day ( from delhi if u do the tests from IOM) n will be sent to Singapore visa office. SG will update medical status result Within 2 days.

Applied online from the US: 29th June, 2017, Approved with passport request: 23rd August, 2017. No medical or police report needed since I applied from the US.
