This is my second attempt applying for a visa, I previously applied for September intake on May 2020 but unfortunately got rejected couple of days before the start of my classes. I was originally planning to start studies online without the study visa decision and hope for the best, but got the decision a couple of days before the first day of classes. During the period of May to September I had been checking this forum and keeping myself up to date with the immigration news on a daily basis, but after the rejection came I stopped (I felt very stressed and negative when checking this forum on a daily basis).

I recall for September intake there were many students who applied on July/August and got their decision much faster than students who applied on or before May. I was wondering if the same pattern follows for January intake. The reason for applying so late is due to the GCMS notes coming very late and waiting for other documents to arrive and get translated to English.

I have submitted a full application from UAE on November 11. My university is currently on the DLI list, therefore is there a possibility for an AIP or is it a final decision?

As far as I know, the two-step process was for applicants who applied before September 15th, 2020. Maybe there are a few that did still receive AIP's after the 15th but in your case, it's been 2 months since the deadline so highly unlikely to get an AIP but rather a final decision instead
