JUST called the CIC, I was told that my background is still in process. therefore I think maybe there is no DM or PPR for me this week.

Same here. I had also found an article on the CIC website saying A75 exemption cases will no longer be treated at the border. Then again, my info dates back from March... I'd love to know, I'm waiting for a work permit to be able to start a new job, but I won't have it before the end of October! (And my CSQ is expiring.......)

For now I'm waiting. But they keep increasing the processing time and my CSQ will be expired before they start working on it at this rate... so I'm hesitating....

Seems for most of Inlanders BG checks are in process from long ..not sure why is it taking so long ...

Looking at current trend and delays ,it doesn't look like realistic to assume ppr in month (unless status is not correctly updated).

Application status: I dont even remember when did it change.. but it did at some point.

Really? I called CIC yesterday, they told me that I should stay and wait, because they are not sure that I can do it at the border. I am very confused

you can for sure, me and few of my friends got extended in the same way.

send an email to CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca with your credit card 490+550 payment charges in order to confirm an update. I did that and I got my PPR next day, I don't know if it is a coincidence. My BG is still the same.

I have sent the proof of charges to CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca several months ago After that, I can trace my online status from ECAS using the receipt number (IMM5401)

Thanks. In that day (08/16/2017 ), you and two other applicants in our forum got the PPR. If I can't get the DM or PPR this Thursday, I will try it.

Do you have PCC's from other countries?

I've submitted PCC from my home country and this is the only one other than Canadian one that is required, and the PCC submitted should have expired if it is treated as one year validity since I got it from my home country at the beginning of June, 2016.

Try to get a new one and sent the scanned files to CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca and Sydney before they ask it. I just noticed that my PCC from my home country will also be expired in Sept.
