I have tried this. The call works and it gives your online status but whenever it reached the stage of transferring the call to an agent it said the call volume is too high so cannot place me in the queue and got disconnected. I read somewhere if you call them early, like 8 AM canada time you could get through. However, I doubt they'll have the status on what's happening in Abu Dhabi V.O. I was calling them to check for something else related to my application.

maybe the orders are received from canada at least they can give us some peace of mind saying its release or whatever. just anything would do at the moment but not the ol under process in ADVO lol.

Does the ABu Dhabi visa office handle cases for Saudi Arabia country of residence ? I am FSW-O FYI , c150 days since AOR.

the only way to know this is by ordering GCMS notes or sending mail to IRCC asking for visa office (and hope they reply)
almost everyone in this forum here had visa office either london or some other place... abu dhabi is quite rare
