3 or 4 weeks?

basically i submitted on 30th july, so 21 days have passed...

now i'm entering week 4 of this nightmare...

For all you know your visa and CoPR must already be issued. Its probably the phase in between issue of the documents, and updating CIC & document dispatch. Most likely there is a section within the VO office that handles this, which the slowest. There was a 1 week gap for me.

They received mine on 24th July via Aramex and still no news... tomorrow will be exactly 30 calendar days. Today is their "deadline" of 20 working days. Somehow I doubt they will be able to meet their own deadline.

Looks like no matter how you have submitted your passport, there is nothing that can be done to speed up the process. They will just take their sweet time while we are stuck in different critical situations with desperate need of our passports. Very impressive!

Am afraid that the guy at aramex wrote me the wrong return shipping,dunno what to think but scary thoughts coming to my mind

What do you mean he wrote it? You are supposed ro write your return address.

Did you try doing anything to contact the embassy,can we call cic or something?

i managed to get through to VFS after 3 phone calls and 20 mins... told them to respond to my passport withdrawn form ASAP.

What do you mean he wrote it? You are supposed ro write your return address.

I wrote the address but he wrote me the shipping no on the reciept

Nope, it's a lost cause. I will wait this week. If nothing changes then I will visit the VFS Dubai and file a complaint or at least express my frustrations.

I don't think so. If nothing is updated in ur CIC account then i believe it's still stuck with them and not with aramex.

I have tried this. The call works and it gives your online status but whenever it reached the stage of transferring the call to an agent it said the call volume is too high so cannot place me in the queue and got disconnected. I read somewhere if you call them early, like 8 AM canada time you could get through. However, I doubt they'll have the status on what's happening in Abu Dhabi V.O. I was calling them to check for something else related to my application.

Ok what can i do since i submitted via aramex,can i send someone to dubai embassy of canada
