Hi...
The work experience letter for all my employment (research associate/post doc fellow) have no mention of the fellowship (salary) paid to me... However, I do have official appointment letters which mentions it and also my profs have provided seperate statement of fellowship paid throughout the year with all the details, which can be easily varified with bank statement. I read somewhere that all the details should be there on your ref letter.
But, I guess my situation is different from those working in corporate or business setting.
Just wanted to know will it be alright?
Thanks

Nah.. you are safe.
Do you have any salary slips? If yes, furnish such slips. CIC want's to know that you are paid for your work, garner any documents to substantiate that point.
Along with reference letters, add any document which claims you are paid.
Some of us corporate employees couldn't even garner reference letter , as our employer didn't comply with our request. We are providing affidavits and other documents which add claim to our work experience. Compare to us, your case is less ambiguous
Hello,
Please advise.
Timeline is following
AOR June 24 2017
Med passed and UCI assigned July 19 2017
IP 1 missed?
RPRF requested July 28 2017
RPRF paid and submitted August 2 2017
So, Background check is still Not applicable.
Not sure which date should be considered as a date when status has changed to NA2.
Hi Experts,
In my express entry profile I've claimed points for my highest degree (Master's) from USA and obtained ECA for that. In my educational history I've mentioned only my Master's degree and not my Bachelor's degree.
1. Now when I'm asked to upload my docs after ITA, should I be uploading both Master's degree and Bachelor's degree?
2. Should I edit my education history to include my Bachelor's degree? Or will having it in personal history suffice?
Thanks
The requirement is as follows, 'You should choose the highest level degree, diploma or certificate (or combination) that will award you the most points. For example, you would get more points for an ECA report that shows you have a Canadian equivalent of a master’s degree than for one that shows you have the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree.'
You have to furnish the documents for which you claim points. It is understandable that bachelor precedes Master's degree.
However, I read in some thread that post ITA, you have to furnish all the educational document (bachelor+ master). Hence mention both in your educational history, after ITA you will be choosing the following options.
Educational Qualification : MAsters
ECA done: Yes
Educational qualification : Bachelors
ECA done: No.
Again the above details I infer from some threads.

Hi guys,
Please help me on my below which getting bigger and bigger in my mind.
In my previous work permit application, i claimed for 2 years retail supervisor experience but Immigration officer didn't approve this as he checked my previous study permit application and couldn't find this.
That time i was misguided by an agency, not to show in order to approve study permit application.
Now i m ready to make my file for Permanent residency and really confused why should i write in past 10 years employment history section??
Should i include this or not?? i have few documents to prove this as that was 7 years old experience.
does this point to be a reason for rejection for my permanent residency application??
Now i m making my application on basis of current 3 years work experience(claim points for 3 years only) and I'm not claiming any points for that previous experience neither i got any advantage from that experience.
Should i mention this in my personal history details?
Please guys , i really need advise on this as i m stuck with this since a month and need to get rid of this.
Thanks in advance
Does the manager needs to be presently working? coz none of them work currently.
It would be better if you garner the letter from the present employer. If you are facing dead end, then obtain the letter from the manager who is working elsewhere and explain your situation in the LOE.
Give it a shot.
If you are maintaining a good rapport with your ex-manager, try to get a scan of his relieving letter which you later used to substantiate his employment

THanks for your reply. I have a good rapport with my manager however, I am dead sure my employer will not give it in the format CIC needs. They are not willing to mention the work hours and job description. Hence, I need a clarification if I can get a letter from my manager notaries it and attached my managers relieving letter (If possible will try however, will be a lil difficult as its something personal to him). So, I can attach what ever letter I get from my employer, my offer letter, relieving letter, payslip (3 months), managers notarize letter and if possible managers relieving letter along with LOE.
Will that work? do you have a sample notarize format? thanks.

Ya it will work as for most of the applicants. Be sure you submit all the documents to substantiate your claim. for eg, if am 2 year employee, I would submit first and last month's payslip for the 2 years. By doing so the visa officer will be convinced that I had worked for every year to which I claimed before.
There is not a notarized format, you can use any format and get it notarized. Just tailor the below format to your need.

Hi, please refer to the 1st page of this thread. You will find all the information. The first step should be taking the IELTS General test. You can also request/trigger WES ECA evaluation of your education.
