Something weird happened today on my CIC account.
My medical passed status changed to If you need a medical exam, a message with instructions will be sent to you.
What the hell is going on?? does anyone know?

below is the current wordings:
Application status We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.
Review of eligibility We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements. Help
Review of medical results If you need a medical exam, a message with instructions will be sent to you. Help
Review of additional documents We do not need additional documents. Help
Interview You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes. Help
Biometrics We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes. Help
Background check Not applicable. Help
Final decision Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

what should i do? on the home page it says your action is needed

when did your medical passed ? and whats ur AOR ?

Probably this is nothing to worry about, you might be closer to PPR than you think and this is just a glitch in their workflow .

as per your timeline yes .. you should be in ip2 now.

This is a good sign then , they are actively working on your profile. The message might have changed when they updated BGC to NA.

PPR should come soon.. there are a lot of people waiting for the rain to begin and you are first in line...

got something really confusing here. I have been in IP2 since July 8th, probably. then i got a request for RCMP certified criminal record check. the report was submitted on July 28th. Just now, August 17, i noticed the background check changed to NA again. any idea what this means?

Probably your background check is completed. whats your AOR ?

Positive thoughts always.... i know its an added or unwanted stress... did you get any emails ? also try giving them a call , they should be able to answer if you have specific questions. Explain your situation, as this not their normal routine - they will be able to answer.

I called them yesterday, and they said my criminality and eligibility is done and file was moved to Ottawa, only security check was pending. and today i got this, its confusing this process.

That's good then.. they already told you that Security was the only thing pending and your file is in Ottawa. Relax now, you should get your PPR email soon. Friday is a good day for PPR's ...

Hi Everyone here is my timeline:

6th May File Submitted

18th July Medicals passed and RCMP requested

21st July RCMP Provided

No update since then just says background check in progress.

Any ideas when I might get approval. CEC inland

Can someone tell how much time it will take from now onward to get PPR?
