The wait from IP2 to PPR was the hardest, especially when I was seeing people receiving PPR within 10 days of IP2. It's going to happen sooner or later. Don't waste time like me, checking status 10 times a day. I wish I was better prepared than this and there was so much more I could have done instead of feeling sorry for myself. Good luck to you all and thanks for your support.

The time I spent browsing around forums, trying to understand why I remained in IP2 for so long, could have been easily put to use in online tutorials for the tools most in demand in my profession.
Posting online ads for renting my property here
making multiple tailor made CVs as per job adverts on major Canadian Job sites
make a proper landing plan (jobs, schools, housing)

True. My wife and I call that 'getting ahead of ourselves' since we haven't even gotten the PPR. But you're right it makes it easier to hit the ground running.

I couldn't agree more with all of the above. I too have spent too much time checking, waiting, checking again. Its pointless. You can't really influence what IRCC are doing, unless they have specifically requested information from you. So.... for anyone else out there.... put your time towards more useful pursuits. I am still waiting for my PPR, but it will happen whenever it happens
