we are reviewing if u meet the eligibility criteria and in the additional info section it is mentioned that we are reviewing the addtnl documents u have provided ..... medical passed case was submitted on 3rd july kindly advoce what stage it is in

Hi Andy,
I just wanted to share my timeline:

ITA - April 19, 2017 with CRS score 416 NOC 1111
AOR - July 12, 2017 (upfront payment of RPRF)
BG check (July 17, 2017) - your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check
July 25, 2017 - requested additional documents. I initially said Yes for a representative in my EE profile but i opted No when I submitted my application. I just submitted the "Use of Representative" form and cancelled the appointment of a representative
BG check (July 30, 2017) - Not applicable
BG check (August 10, 2017) - we are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information
PPR (August 16, 2017)

Did all of you get your AORs as soon as you submit the application online?

My CIC account says I received an AOR on July 26th, 2017: the same day I made the submission with a PDF doc with the following:

This letter confirms that your application for permanent residence in Canada was received by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) through your account on July 26, 2017.

Is this doc (IMM5794_1-XXXXXXX) the AOR that everyone gets all excited over?

AOR means Acknowledgement Of Receipt. It simply means that they have received your application. That's it.

Yes. My husband studied in the Netherlands for over 6 months and so I need to provide a Police Record for him. It could not have been submitted before because the Netherlands requires official request from CIC in order to process it. I got that official request about 4 weeks ago and have already received the Police Record. That was uploaded last week so now I wait .

Only other update is that medicals were passed.

its quite rare to see adrs before meds passed (although may happen).
