I hae sent my passports by courier on 23rd Jul...no update yet in my cic account....People from 26th Jul receiving passports...? donno what happened to my passport

when did you pay RPRF? Along with application or later?

you cannot "update" your profile after AOR stage... any changes you make need to be informed via CSE





no need to inform IRCC regarding change in job. Only major changes like marital status change, change in resident country, contact details that sort of thing need to be informed - not change in job.

Thanks, I was told the same by someone else too, so I guess I will submit passport once I get the request either before my visa change or after based on the speed of IRCC with the process, the wait is very bad but patient is the key to success

I submitted my passport on 23rd of July and reached the Embassy on the 24th of July. As of today Thursday, 17th of August, it is my 24th calendar day or 19th business day. I really hope I hear something today. If not then I look forward to Sunday.

I have a question just to be prepared for whenever i get my ppr. Are all courier companies accepted by abu dhabi embassy to send my passport? Is there any advantage using VFS over sending directly through a courier?
I was thinking of using DHL or fedex as I prefer them over aramex.
Appreciate your input.

Finally some news. I just checked my CIC account ....Approved.

The passport should follow soon.

Please let us know when you receive the passport so we know how long it takes from approval status change to receiving the passport.

VFS is more secure also it seams they process their passports a little bit faster than courier , one more thing VFS sends your passport to the nearest visa application center not restricted to Abu Dhabi

Appreciate your input. Thats a misunderstanding I had before. Always thought for some reason that VFS is slower. Thats good to know.
