The CoPR letter would be sent together with the passport. In fact, as stated by the VFS employee, this is the reason why stamping a visa sticker for PR takes insanely longer than a normal visa...the reason being they have to prepare the CoPR letter!!

Hi seniors,
I received the PPR letter today and one of the requirements is a confirmed travel itinerary ticket. I am planning to fly next year Jan 2018 can I do that? The letter has no mention of the visa expiration yet so I was hoping I can travel next year.

The visa expiration date is mentioned on the CoPR letter, and not the PPR letter. Generally, the last day to land is from one year since you did your medicals. You should be fine as long as you did your medicals after Jan 2017
