May be they know that you will pass background check easily, hence they have not submitted your profile for Security Screening.

I dont think we are in same club , for you , criminality is in progress so at least you know what they are doing

for me all the 3 criminality , security , eligibitly : Not started yet

and iam inland , all of my freinds got background check moving since long time and their profile is almost as mine if not easier

I called CIC few days ago and asked about status of my application, they said to me since your Medical exam expired because of delay in your application process, officer asked for extension on your medical certificate and everything else are finished(your background check, your security check, eligibility ...).
today I saw "You passed the medical exam." in my online account. I hope as the agent said, I will receive my landing email soon.

I am inland applicant and for unknown reason(of course for me), it took more than 2.5 years to process my application. however it is not finished yet

when i read somthing like this , i get really scared , 2.5 years for an inland , WTF

I have submitted my documents at the end of October 2016. Therefore, I should expect that they did not start my eligibility, background and security checks as well!

Your VO (Paris) might be following some different flow for PR processing.

For the past 3 weeks there have been good news... i want to think this means they are coming back from vacation hehe.

Our situation is the same..LVO is terribly slow with processing applications. Nothing has started.

Any idea what is the average processing time of an application in LVO ?

I believe you had submitted upfront medical report, which seems not working in your case. They might have checked your file today for DM, and should have found that IME medical request which is not done for your file, hence asking for MR. As soon as you medical exam is passed, you should get DM in couple of weeks.

Seems its hard to make understand CIC that upfront medical request is same as IME, or CIC is not considering upfront medical request.

No. I did not submit upfront Medicals. Considering that CIC had not started my Security Check with CSIS until 2nd June, I would consider myself lucky if I get DM by mid Nov 2017 ( 13th Month mark).

since you are from states @APPNOV2014NY, it wont take much time passing background check. They can easily get your history. you should receive the DM soon
