I suggest all.those who applied in may june and later on....guys go for express entry.....they process file in just 2 months....after invitation......do not hope from cic paper application.........they take too long

Hello Folks

Everyone concerned about why CIC is taking too much time...

I'm 6 April 2016 applicant and it's already been more than 16 months since I applied. Still not even DM yet..

So far I got one thing:
No Metter how many post you put saying why...how...what's going on etc etc or call them..

I tried to contact CIC but guys...I'm saying it again..

Just wait...we can't do anything
I'm also checking ecas 100 times everyday..

Rather observe the other applicants comments and you will see its not only us...many applicants from Jan-Mar 2016 are also stuck somewhere...

All I can do is just wish good luck to all...!! Hopefully we will see good news in this group.

Nov 2015 inland applicant here still no DM. EE is the way to go. I hear some of the July 2015 applicants are still waiting.

Yes it is really frustrating..
I read few news article Canada is facing illegal Immigrant Crisis from Canada- USA Border. People Moving from there to here through small Border, Huge flow, and Immigration officers are more busy with their case. So our files they don't even care. Liberal Government is really screwing this country over to take illegal immigrants with out any proper security screening. Inland pnp applicants who is in Canada for long time has to wait almost 2 year processing and long term Security screening and all. This is really ridiculous. Even if we go to MP or MLA CIC usually simply say Security is under process. Good excuses. So nobody can question them if it comes under security points of view. CSIS usually submit their screening report to IRCC with in a month/ less..

Everything is done. Its been more than 16 months so i called CIC and this is what i been told.
My file is completed. Back ground check is done. Note on my file left that there is no more documents or information required. Now just need some one to do final review. It could take 1 day to 4 months.
Like for real.

I was told the same as yours by cic.. april 13, 2016 applicant. CIC said final review and evrythiing is positive and just need to wait until 1st eeek sept.
