We make native speakers nervous, when we 'speak'with respective MTIs(Mother Tounge Influence).
Believe me , inside me i sound like Morgan Freeman, but somehow something else comes out.
Year-ear, hour-our , all becomes same same.

Lol. I am absolutely sure that my english-influenced french is much, much worse than your accent. My husband, also learning french, cringes at my inability to say things correctly. At least you can hear how you want it to sound via Morgan Freeman. I don't think I can hear what I am trying for, so achieving it is near impossible.

yes , it is based on calculations that were correct for the previous rounds.
i think calculations gets updated every round

Hello ladies and gents! I am sitting tight at 420 hoping cut-off will fall further. Meanwhile, I have decided to re-take IELTS to improve my result from clb9 to 10. Pls advise how much additional points this will give me - 3 per section or 3 points in all. My current IELTS score is as follows: L/R/W/S 8/8.5/7.5/7.5.

Thank you, my friend. Having crazy optimistic friends is still better than having serious pessimists around us. Sarcasm and humor is by far the most effective medicine for all our pain.

And of course, another back-to-back draw this Wednesday will keep me alive!

Yes ur right but iam really fed up!!!!already tried 4 times...this time i was really frustrated aftr my exam as i knew i din do well and told me husband no more ilets for me lol.But later the support and encouragement i recieved from this forum gave me a new hope.am so glad to have ppl like you around me to give me the strength and all the postive energy tht i need at this time.thank you so much

Don't rush into taking it again. Take the time to really prepare. Also try to make every time you use english a practice in correct grammar. And if you are using a computer to post, pay attention to spelling.

I will be following this advice in learning french.

Thank you for this. I've learned it the hard way. Chill and relax. Everything will come at the right time.

While we are waiting and hoping for a third draw next Wed, who knows if SINPs started getting issued to people and if this will affect the number of people over 600-1000 crs so it will increase CRS? They said they opened and got 1400 needed applications..

I have never seen the 600 range go beyond 500 so I don't think nominations will affect the minimum cut-off that much.

OINP is issuing 500 nominations per month on the average as per their processing time.
SINP, on the other hand, will only open in just few hours and accepts 300-500 applications at a time, and their average processing time is 3 months. I've heard SINP-OID is still open since most of the OID NOC's require licensing and for FSW-Outland it is unlikely they will get the license.

A friend with more knowledge than me ,tells me that their average processing time is atleast a month or higher in the past for EE and the current intake is OID that has longer processing time for nomination.

Since u hv already acheived clb 10 in R/W/S, ul only get 3 more points for listening.
