Hi guys

Just found out that there is a update on the forms and checklist we send our application july 17 recieved july 20 using the old checklist...would it big deal??

You can't be sure it'll be returned, none of us can be sure. It would be more certain to assume that they would just ask us to send only the two forms again and updated, that makes more sense to everyone. As the other people on this thread have said, we only noticed that update three days ago, and we checked for updates before mailing our applications, so it should be fine. I would advise you to stop worrying about it, it's not good for you, although I definitely understand you. If it gets returned, you apply again. If it doesn't, you keep moving forward. Either way, worrying about it is a futile exercise that will only stress you out a lot. Try to be optimistic, and remember that even if it gets returned, they process it faster when you send it back. Technically, they wouldn't have forms missing, so they would most likely just ask us to send the forms updated or don't ask us for that at all. The changes were minor, that is something in our favor too.

In IMM0008 for national identity document page 2 bottom

we have aadhar card and voter id card or PAN card

but all of them have issue date but no expiry date

what to write in place of expiry date.Agent told me to put 9999-12-31 and not to leave it empty as it will be considered as u forgot.

please help me out.

Indians don't have any national identity document. Just check NO.

i have sent my wife's application on may 23, 2017 and it was returned due to some signatures were missing. i got the application back on july 12, 2017. i have emailed all the forms to my wife for her to sign them, she mailed those forms to me and i have sent her application to cic again on july 26 and cic received it on july 27. I did not check the updated forms and check list and send old forms which i have filled earlier. does any of you thing i will get my application back again as i have sent it after july 15.

There are many people who sent the same forms while resubmitting the app...my file was returned too..but to avoid any kind of risk..i have redone all the forms and will be sending my app on Monday.

so we have to submit representative form even if we dont use canadian mailing address? doesnt it say only iff applicable?

If you are using same mailing and residential address of PA and that address is from PA's country, you don't have to send representative form.
In my case I used different mailing and residential address for my husband, though both the houses are of my husband still they needed representative form and returned my application. This time I am using same mailing & residential address.

They returned my app without processing.. there was no way to update any doc without file number

Hey guys, so Im a July Applicant and sitll waiting ofr AOR. I found that I have couple of errors on checklist. i checked the wrong checkbox. I also didn't check one of the option but provided a document. Do you think it will be returned or common error on the checklist does put a lot of weight in chances of our application that will be send back to us?

During compiling of the documents I printed pages labelling what kind of documents that is. So stressed out if it will be returned or not.

That shouldn't be a problem, you have 5 tries per day I think. You have to type in the information the same way you did in the forms when submitted the application. You should search other threads for it in case you try again and it doesn't work. Keep us updated

It worked! just checked my messages and they are requesting Schedule A and Police Certificate... we submitted FBI request on May 19 but still haven't recieved yet! Thank God we requested back then.... Fingers crossed we recieve this week

I'm very glad it worked! Hopefully I'll get AOR at the end of the month. Colombia has a special situation for the police certificate so they'd have to do the file transfer quickly, I think they would only ask me to submit Schedule A online, then do the file transfer. The police certificate here only takes up to 3 business days, they send it directly to the embassy. I guess that's a good thing since it pressures them to transfer the file quick. I am a bit worried they'd return our application for some crazy reason but I am 100% sure we had everything, we double checked the checklist like 8 times
