Guys,
We just received a 5 page letter from LVO that they are not sure of our relationship genuineness. Can you plz share if this is PFL? we need to send them documents in 30 days. They are asking for details of the following:

1. why we applied for visa late after 2 years and 4 months of our marriage?
2. why I didn't try to go to Canada to meet my sponsor before?
3. intent to return to Canada for the sponsor? (though we sent voluntary proof of my wife and kid's return and their lease agreement from Canada)
4. why I stayed at my wife's place in Pakistan before our wedding as it is against Pakistani cultural norms?
5. why my name is not on my daughter's Canadian birth certificate?
6. urdu nikkah nama

Kindly comment what the F*** they want from me now. We had explained everything before. They TOTALLY ignored all the voluntary proof we sent. We'll send them that now. PLZZZZZZZZZ help with Question 1& 2 especially. Thank you

Woah! Not having both parent's name on the BC is massive. Consult an Immigration Lawyer (not Consultant!) and see what he can craft up for you. You need to respond in a professional manner in order for them to be satisfied with all the proofs and evidence.

Also, yes it's a PFL.

Birth certificate has my wife's name on it. The hospital in Toronto advised that my name can't be on my daughter's birth certificate as i was not present in canada and am not a canadian citizen. My wife called service ontario today and they confirmed the rule and they are sending her some amendment forms. Let's c

Just adding a bit here that my daughter's Pakistani NICOP etc has my name on it as a father.

Oh God! Such lies! My husband wasn't here either yet I managed to add his name because the BC is submitted electronically online so you can add whoever's name you want! Sometimes hospital staff are so unaware of the policies and procedures!

These should be least of our worries!!! We need PPR not PFL and Interview queues! Hope you get it sorted out quickly.

I think at this point an immigration Lawyer is the route you should opt for. How long was your spouse (in the total duration of your wedding) in Canada? if not long why would you come here if she can be with you in Pakistan for longer based on her dual nationality status?! But yea consult a lawyer. All the best.

It really sucks to have such stupid flaws even in Canadian system. my wife had called service Ontario before we applied and we were told the same rule.
Do u mind sharing why they sent a PFL to you and were u called for interview after you submitted PFL documents??
U are very aware of the rules and reply smartly so i would guess there won't be many problems in your file. I was wondering why you got dragged in all of this shit

@Aryan007 so sorry to hear about your PFL. You can never assume what visa officer could come up with though the concerns seem legit. We make mistakes that are so dumb without realizing it later. I noticed a change in myCIC where it states we need additional documents to continue processing your application. We will send you a message with details. A couple of weeks ago LVO confirmed us being in an interview queue. I am not being able to comprehend what this change could mean while it still states you do not need an interview in myCIC. Is this all system glitch again or this myCIC is a complete absurd?

Guys I need your advice
Im a july 2016 nikkah only case and in interview queue because of not doing rukhsati...initially when we applied we decided to do rukhsati once application is finalised because my sponsors entire family is in canada and we mentioned that in our application but now since my eligibility is in question so should we go for rukhsati and send them the proof or we should stick with what we said in our application and wait for interview..

I think you should stick with what you said in your file previously. Did your spouse make any visits after your nikkah? Did you send them any proofs of his visit? Also, Have you already ordered notes and found out the exact reason for interview and what doubts visa officer has? Nikkah only cases usually receive additional document request to send them rukhsati evidence. Since you already told them you will do rukhsati after visa could be the reason you didn't receive any request and direct interview.

The thing is that is a huge decision you are asking for people to take on your behalf. Have you ordered your notes? What does your MP say? how do you know your eligibility is in question because of lack of rukhsati.

here is all I can say, if you two are ready for marriage, and want to start a life together then go for it. Forget society and who can and cannot attend your wedding. You can never make everyone happy so don't even try. If you want to be with your spouse then go for it.

It is quite earlier to worry about it since you are an April applicant. Keep on ordering notes to see how things are moving for you.

See the last page of your notes for officers comment, what does it say? I have seen many nikkah only cases been approved without asking a single question. Lack of proofs to satisfy the officer could also be the reason for interview. Did you apply at your own?

I am Decemeber 2016 applicant, haven't received any date yet.
