You need to wait to get the request to have the medical done from CIC as they send you a form that must be taken to to the Panel Doctor and to make the appointment in Havana. Without the request form you cannot even make an appointment.

The hospital is in Boyeros 53-7-647-1178. 537 643 5600 ext 5690 I suggest that you check the CIC web site as well and search panel doctor for Cuba as info may change .

Thank you, I will check. Sorry if I sounded rude, just like to double check in case the information has changed/is outdated (especially after lots of bureaucratic experiences in Cuba!).

Why would it take two months for them to send it to Ottawa?? So frustrating to have to wait 5 months for a medical clearence when he has no issues .

The Cuban processing time is 13 months so anything before that is a gift. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to who gets through in a few months and who waits longer In our case it has been 3 years as of July 11 plus Good luck

The end is in sight as we received the visa pick up email Sent to my husband a few minutes ago he is getting ready to go to Havana for Monday morning to pick it up. I am looking for a flight to PEI now . Our nightmare is nearly over Good Luck to all and if I can help ask . That appeal took 8 months to get the visa . We will celebrate our 4 th wedding anniversary in Canada.

The email was sent Aug 10 at 11.38 pm. And I opened it Friday am and took me all day to find out if it was really a visa pick up lol No updates on Saturdays unless the email is stuck in the system Cuba has terrible internet so I figure that is why I got in my inbox at 11.38 at night.
