Finally I got the interview date which is 2017/09/12, and it says to bring updated police certificate, medical exam, marriage photos, honeymoon photos, and proof of contact and sponsor recent visit.
If not already paid, please ask your sponsor to pay the Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF). You may send a scanned copy of the receipt to us via email. This is to facilitate and expedite the issuance of the visa, should your application be approved at the interview.
(is not normal to have sponsor on phone, will they call for sure?)
At the interview, please provide us with a phone number for your sponsor. Not all sponsors will be contacted as it may not be necessary. If your sponsor is in Pakistan, he/she should accompany you to the interview.

My spouse received a request for medical examination today, August 3.
We provided the medical upfront, and it expires in October. Ecas shows as "we have received your medical results". Mycic showed "medical results passed" and today it changed to "we are reviewing your medical results".
Our file is in London visa office, we really worried right now. My husband still went ahead and booked the appointment for next week for a medical.
Is this normal? Keep in mind, our eligibility and background hasn't even started.

Here is an update:
I got our 3rd batch of notes yesterday and most of the fields have been updated in 14 June 2017. Under assessments section:
Eligibility says "in progress".
Criminality in progress just like before.
Medicals Passed.
Sponsor and applicant's addresses have been updated.
Under "Application Assignment" there is a due date of 14 july 2017.
Eligibility:
created date: 26/9/2016
Updated date: 2017/06/14
Status: Review required
Due date: 2017/07/03 (Does it mean that the review has already been done??) Now there are different due dates under different sections.
Criminality due date: 2017/09/26
Medicals due date: 2017/09/14
Some officer wrote new comments on 14 june 2017. He has put some dates wrong including our cohabitation periods as a couple. He has raised concerns that me and my wife are cousins and we lived together for 4 days before our nikkah which is against our pakistani culture so how can that even happen?
It looks like he is accusing us either for an illigit relationship or thinks we misrepresented. The fact is that me and my wife are cousins and our families always gathered for Eid etc and bcz our families lived in different cities so all the trips are always overnight stays and we all sleep in separate rooms. I had explained it in our papers already that our families gathered at her home when she arrived from canada and i stayed at her place (which is my phuphu's house) for 4 days and we spoke with each other and our wedding was after a month. Besides it's our love marriage and we spoke before marriage and had a decent friendly relationship. I don't know if lvo has hired some MOLVEE or this stupid guy's GF really dumped him as claimed by FutureCanadian123 but i am screwd guys. Should i send them another explanation letter voluntarily when all deadlines are in a month??
So here's the thing: For them to raise questions on your file, could potentially put you on a risk for PFL and/or an interview list. For now, don't do anything and hang on. Let them sort it out and see if they do either of the above. In case they do, you can always get your MP involved. What I've learned from CIC is that the more you speak, the more trouble you get into. One of my friends had an interview 3 days before mine, they had a great interview and at the end, the officer confirmed that they are admissible in Canada however they only needed FBI clearance and one other document pertaining to their kid. When they were waiting on the FBI letter, they submitted their Nadra Council registration thinking ok more the merrier. CIC sent them a PFL to say when we asked at the interview, you said you didn't had it. Now you're providing the document? Please clarify WTF are you guys doing since we are thinking what you said at the interview were all lies.
Had they not sent what was not required, they would've been granted a PPR. So my advice is to wait it out until you see something in GCM which says "Please send them PFL" or "Interview required"

WTF why are they moral policing people? It's only their place to figure out if a relationship is of convenience or not. Living together, taking trips, dating before marriage all seem to me like they would be genuine relationships.
hii..

They look at all cases according to Pakistani culture, religion, norm and laws. It's very unusual for them to see someone living together with their fiancee without having rukhsati done. Aryan had explained why he 'lived together' and his living together has a different meaning than living together in Canada.
There are many times when they ask in interviews why did you marry someone who's divorced? Whereas, no one would ever question that in Canada.

Your advice makes a lot of sense Bro. Thank you!
I was thinking the same as already we sent them voluntary evidence before which still needs attention. They are very unpredictable and anything can backfire from their office. I'd just wait for them to speak up.

I understand, but keep in mind that not everyone in Pakistan is a muslim. There are people of other faiths also. If every case is indeed so different and is treated as such, then they should look at every case differently, instead of painting everyone with the same brush. Not living together after marriage (I mean at all) might hint a marriage of convenience, but dating, spending time together, living together are all cases of a genuine relationship.

100% agreed. However, if, let's say someone who's Christian living in Pakistan and if according to them, their religion allows them to live together before civil and religious marriage, the cultural pressure will not allow them to do so. Hence the Officer will need to be satisfied completely in order for them to know that this is something very commonly celebrated.
I hope every one of us gets through this difficult time and gets reunited with their loved ones soon!
