Is it possible for you two to direct me to the threads, if any, where you have shared your experience regarding the documentation, processing timelines etc. ? Would be of great help as it'll give me an idea about the average processing times and will help me keep away from unnecessary stress of my file not moving forward. Thanks a lot!
P.S:- Very high chances of a draw today. My prediction: 3800 ITAs CRS: 434 with the date based ranking system in place.

Maybe they're also counting the family size, just guessing. Or there is a real boom in applications.
You've been misinformed about the power of the LOE and how the CIC works. As long as your explanation is legitimate and is written clearly and concisely, CIC has no reason to not be "considerate".

You need to take into account that not all the applications get into the pool. I had a problem when I withdrew and reapplied. I had 2 rejected before I found the problem. Although you might find the data on the dates and times during that period interesting.

Also, there are many duplicate applications in the pool. A few couples on this forum have admitted to having 2 active profiles - one in each spouse's name.
Because I have a gut feeling that they just cannot keep it to a single draw in this month. Looking at approximate number of ITAs to be issued, based on the number crunching done by others, I can safely say that the 2nd draw for the month of July is imminent today. I presume CIC would like an even spread of applicants instead of bumping up or cutting down on the applications drastically. Since Express Entry is now main driver of Canada's economic immigration, CIC would try to be more consistent and efficient with the processing.
