Background Check - We are processing your background check. We will send the you a message if we need more information.

Where's the storm of IP2s and PPRs? There's a literal storm here in my country.

A while back the application was updated. BCG now says "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information". I guess this is IP2!

Review of additional documents went back to "The additional documents you provided are being reviewed" from "we don't need additional documents"

Oh goodie! Looks like mine when I was solid IP2! Congratulations! Hoping you get speedy PPR!

Its the first status change which you get after uploading the additional documents. The next status should be the additional documents which you had provided are being reviewed. After that if there are no probs and they are fine with the docs then the status would be we do not need additional documents.

Last email update before I asked VO was when I saw medical passed and IP 1 changes. Then I only emailed them once when I saw IP2 changes to ask my VO, and literally overnight they responded Ottawa. The day after that email response, I got PPR! ...so I ran as soon as I can to a photographer to get updated pictures to submit with our passports. LOL!

Yes basically my GCMS say Approved on 13 July, and then I reached IP2 status!

i had sent the additional document in mid june, the status has changed yesterday . and the document was some representative form , that they had asked for....i didnot even use any representative. i m confused.

Wow I had just checked my cic account an hour ago for status change and my BG check was still NA. Just checked again now and it's in IP2(We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information)

Yes, my VO is Ottawa. I was sitting on Medical Passed/NA and RPRF paid when I sent them a note yesterday. In 8 hours, I got a response saying the application has been approved. By then the BCG status changed from NA to IP2. I'm yet to receive the PPR though, desperately waiting for the diamond email, hope this weekend brings joy
