I know, I just hope it doesn't cause us to ever doubt our relationship. Some people on a forum once complained how they got into fights with their spouses and it was driving them apart.

It all depends on who is on the other side .. if our hubbys can keep us calm, then thats a good thing .. and vise versa .. relax .. Canada is doing a lot to make sure spouses are united soon .. have faith in Allah ..

Also Kinza, wanted to ask u .. did any of ur gckey status change once file was transferred to LVO? Do they change at all? And if so, what changed? Thanks

The "Background check" on GCKey just updated to "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information." today which is weird, because it still says "Application Received" on ECAS.

Weird, not sure what this means... Thoughts?

it could mean that they were lazy enough to not update ECAS. BGC going into progress is definitely good. Kinda jealous tbh but very happy for you

no nothing changed on my GCKey since its gone to LVO. Kinda wish it did

And yes really hoping Canada lives up to its promise of uniting families faster.

Nope, that one still says "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements", I've heard it doesn't change until DM.

After several months finally got good news. Alhamdulilah!!
Continuing from the med request..
Medical done: July 4
Meds Rec: July 18
Request for PP: July 24
PPR submitted: July 25
Decision on CIC changed to DM: July 24

So yes finally got the PPR, and submitted to VFS.. IA praying it gets done soon.

Admins please update the spreadsheet!

Hi everyone, May 25 Applicant. Two days ago i received request letter to provide Sch A, Birth Certificate, Passport Size pictures and Family Lists and household registry. But i have already submitted Schedule A two weeks ago, Birth Certificate, Passport Size Pictures on the time of submission of application then why they are asking to provide all these docs again, any help? And what is meant by Family Lists or house hold registry?

Don't worry--you're not the only one. The same happened with me. After I sent the initial application package, they asked for things I had already sent them (and they did this twice). Not sure why.
