hi everyone, I just wanted to thank everyone that has helped me since I have submitted my application for my wife.
I need some advice.
Here is my time line-
Me and my wife got engaged
- April 22 2016 (arranged marriage)
- Nov 24 gotten married
- nov 25 wedding party
- Nov 26 reception party
- Nov 28 - to Thailand honey moon
But didn't go (wife didn't get Thai visa)
I (sponsor) returned to Canada.
Submitted application
- march 19 2017
- march 21 2017- CIC received App
- April 05 2017- sponsor approved
- may 20 2017 application send to Singapore
- July 2 - medical request
- July 11 - medical passed
- July 18 - on interview waiting list.
So I got email from Singapore stating my wife is on waiting list & its 24 months waiting list.
We haven't been married year yet.
It's been only 9 months. Of course CIC doesn't believe we are genuine. Because we haven't been married year yet (been 9 months).
Do you guys recommend that I go visit my wife again? And take more pic and go on honeymoon together...
And send the pictures and plane tickets to CIC though webform?

I'm no expert and the seniors here can comment but was there any issue why your wife didn't get a visa to Thailand coz it's one of the easy visas to get.

She applied for Thai visa on October 2016.
Month before our wedding.
And Thai embassie also requested my documents. (Passport)
We submitted airline tickets, hotel we would be staying. I bought round trip back from Bangladesh to Thailand for us.
Lost most of my money.
All our names were on the tickets.
I was still in Canada that time.
She was is in Bangladesh.
After she was denied Thai visa two times.
She send emailed Thai embassies
But the Thai embassies said:
That they don't disclose the reason why she didn't get the visa.
There was no issue, she is perfectly fine, her background, health. Is good....
Matter In fact, she just passed her medical....
It's pretty weird why she didn't get her Thai visa, they should give us the reason right?

That's good you should get it in a month.
Yes visiting her should definitely help. Take lots of pictures and save all your call logs since to prove the relationship is on going. Don't worry will pray for you.
Definitely go see her again. Visit as much as you can, and for as long as possible. Also keep all evidence of your contact. I would send it in to be added to your file.

Youve posted this in another thread as well. Do not send what they arent asking for. Have the extra evidence ready for your interview. They dont want the extra evidence as they have made their decision that an interview is required

It is actually okay to send evidences via email as this would help their case. Certain members have reported that voluntarily sending more evidences helped their interview to be waived. Better take that risk than wait in vain for 2 years.

I actually have quit more evidence. It would be lot of documents to upload via webform.
And going to go see my wife.
Hopefully this will help. Pretty expensive to go over seas. Thank god I get paid well on vacation or else I wouldn't be able to go

The government.... they are not wanting more than what they askfor in the checklist and anything else in additional documents. This isnt meant to be an argument at all. No need to get defensive. Just following INSTRUCTIONS
Visit your wife first and gather more evidences.. Then it's up to you whether you will send more upfront or wait until your interview. Good luck. Hoping for the best.
