In NDVO 2017 apps started getting PPR before 2016 were finished. this was 2 months back before I got my ppr. It's not impossible. 2017 applicants will be processed quicker due to change in policy. Maybe they are assigned different visa officers. As holiday season has started,fewer staff will be available which is the reason of silence. Same happened last year as

Replying to emails is not that big part of their job, processing applications is. In any case what does the person who said they got DM stand to gain from lying about getting DM?

I applied through a lawyer and he's a pain in the neck honestly. Asking him to do something is so annoying I hate asking him it feels like im begging him

I understand that. Do u have access to mycic though your lawyer is the representative? Does it show any progress there?
