Someone should tell me something.....Its been 2months and 14 days now since I mailed my passport to Avo.I have not heard from them.Is it normal?? I think its taken too long for my visa.What should I do??

Hi Josh, what day did you get ppr? I would definitely send them an email and call them. That seems excessively long.

Yeah I would definitely give them a few calls and emails until you hear something out of them.

What does your cic account say in the Application status and final decision fields?

I am asking cos during my EE application processing I waited a month after submitting passport to email AVO, the response was that an email, which I never received, was sent to me to arrange pick up 2 weeks ago.

What I only noticed 2 weeks after submitting was that my status moved to close and final decision was "this application has been approved"

I don't have an online account..... I just checked my ecas but it says its in process
Anyway,I have emailed AVO.My wife also did same and I will call them today.... I hope something good comes out of that.

It's been almost 2 months of complete silence from AVO. Is it that the quota for this year has been meant? Just confirmed.

I don't know what's going on but they are now at their slowest processing in three years. This is ridiculous. Or maybe everyone is on vacation.

I thought about the quarter thing more, the end of the quarter would have been June so we should have seen more movement this month.... I'm think their staff are all on vacation since it's nice weather in Canada now.

I just looked back at my spread sheet of all AVO apps from this forum in the past three years and there was only one person who heard anything from AVO in July last year, I swear they are just off work right now. It picked up again in August and then a bunch of people got PPR in October last year.

It is so sad the way we're waiting while others who applied after us(this year ) has been approved from other VO.it is not fear at all

I just got my gcms notes today btw and there seems to be nothing on it from when it was transferred to Accra. Everything says not started and it seems to still be in the eligibility stage.
