I received my AOR last last friday and the funds were charged from my credit card last saturday. So give it a week

It depends on if you paid the processing fee online or if you provided your card details with your application. For those of us who provided credit card details with our applicants...it appears that they deduct the funds soon after issuing AOR. If you did the payment online/ it would process immediately. Hope you understand the difference.

my friend's application was received on 28 april and got aor yesterday afternoon around 5.40pm

I was able to directly link my application to my cic online account

Congrats!! It does take sometime....the pain of being a paper based applicant
