I applied to nnas and my application status was ready for review since January 23 and till now I didn't get my report!!! I called several times and the customer service answers were the same that they have many files and few evaluators!!!

This the longest NNAS evaluation period so far known on this group

Do you know if anybody file a lawsuit against NNAS or something like that?

They are so incompetent!
They sent me a email in February asking for a written permission to proceed with a short descriptions that my school had sent. They received my letter in April 07th but they just confirmed receiving on July 3rd because I wrote a email asking about it. And today they sent me exactly the same february email asking for a written permission that they have received 4 days ago. It was completely clear!

That is only one of the many problems that I have been through the last 2 years with NNAS. They treat me like nothing and it seems that they don't know what they are doing sometimes. I feel useless, I don't know where to complain or how to make something about it. I am justing wasting money and time!

Is it only with me? Is someone feeling the same?

[/QUOTE. Hi dear!!!! Well I have some how the same issue!!!! They asked for many documents and each time I need to call them to make sure that they receive it and after my call they change it to received. I don't know what shell we do l, I wonder why its taking them that long to process our files, it's not our fault if they don't have enough evaluators

As they say "short description" it means I infer your school has not send enough detail in course description. Probably they don't know or don't have any SOP how to deal it with bcz they blindly follow course details & if it is to short to ascertain your level based on that perhaps they are apprehensive to mark you not comparable & just putting file on hold.

Way back, I have mentioned earlier , NNAS takes on average 4 weeks to file your documents in the system after they receive it. They are lazier than snail. For this you can not do anything other than taking deep breaths

Not sure if this is of use to anyone, but I decided to write a blog to detail some of the hurdles I went through during NNAS and with my registration at CRNNS
https://registerednurseukcanada.wordpress.com
I have just had a job offer so I'm finally feeling a little more positive about the whole experience. The job offer though is in the Yukon, a little different to the original plan but sometimes the unexpected is more exciting in the end!

Thanks for sharing
