If someone qualifies for Occupation in Demand...do they still have to apply for Sasketchwan Express Entry or should they just apply to OID when it starts taking applications?

Not compulsory. Optional (if he is eligible for EE only, because its tantrums are much more)

Its for my brother. His occupation is listed in OID..but he is confused regarding Sasketchwan EE.
So he he doesnt have to fill in the EE application and can apply directly to OID...when it opens of course?

That list is equally applicable for SINP EE as well.

Can you please elaborate. We are stuck as to what we need to do. Will applying to SINP EE be sufficient? They are only picking 1700 though...we are just not sure if we must apply to SINP EE in order to apply for OID.

No no. SINP will adjust Job offer remaining seats (about 4000 left) in EE. They don't let anything ruin.

I had applied in express entry stream of SINP on Jan. 2017, my application is under "IN PROCESS" from April. But, my ielts is going to expire in september 1st week.

Shall I call the Team Leader of Immigration Officers (Sara Schier) to explain my situation and ask her help in updating my status as soon as possible.
