Yeah i did cancelled, i am planning to order it on day 55 post AOR, but first i am going to e-mail CIC for knowing my Visa Office, if the reply comes Ottawa or NDVO, then the very same day. i it is CIO then I will wait till 55-60 days post AOR.
Will update here when I do.

I have one observation. We have a mixed reaction(as in it might push a stagnant phase or might annoy them) to whether or not to enquire of our file status with the CIC guys. What's your take on that?

I think we should avoid calling them and e-mailing them for processing stage till day 80 post AOR (Apart from the VO e-mail of course). As long as one's file is being processed normally as majority others.
Now they do ask us for minimum contact etc. and also every call is reflected on GCMS, but i think its our right to know information, if we feel that our file is not going on its normal course. So I think 2-3 calls and e-mails won't be much of a concern, until and unless someone keeps pestering them again again, then they might get annoyed to do something, still I don't think it can have any solid negative impact on file.
Still I think its better not to call unless absolutely necessary. hope i helped.

CIO or Ottawa should not make any difference. I heard they are treating some files in CIO. Yours might be among. I ordered mine on 57 days post AOR.

21 jun - meds passed and request letter for coc
22 jun - ip1 and submission of coc
10 jul - ip2

not sure what to think of all these. maybe someone looked at my file after my email. but the seniors said bgc status are all speculation and it might not be accurate to follow it fully.

did anybody skip NA?

Are you applying from the US? A few of us noticed they usually skip NA2 for US applicants.

My AOR is 4 April
Med pass 6 June
IP1 I think it went to NA on 6june itself . I didn't saw any change.

BG is NA

Asked for visa office couple of times ... every time they said file is processing at CIO Sydney ...latest reply was on 27 June. I have mailed again on Saturday ... waiting for their reply

I just asked for the VO.

Same thing happened to me too. It changed to background in progress on the same day that I emailed them. Doesn't mean much I guess.
