What does it mean if PR application is currently being processed at the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney , Nova Scotia ? What stage is it at?

It's where all applications are scrutinized first for completeness and document check. If clear then they will go for further processing - eligibility, criminality, Medicals and then to local visa office

For some people. it first goes to CIO and then to Ottawa. For others, it goes to CIO and then local VIsa office. Difficult to say! Im on day 88 and I am still at CIO sydney so I think all the processing is done there itself before they issue it to LVO for my PPR.

You will receive an email mentioning that your CSE has been attached to the related file. It can take upto 30-35 days.

It is in NA. My file has been moved to London VO from CIO Sydney. Im still waiting on NA and I am on day 113!

"Dear Sir/Madam,


Please note that your application is currently at the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia and has not yet been transferred to a local visa office."

Any idea how long it will take in CIO ?

Any idea how long it will take in CIO ?

I also received same reply from them. I'm 7th April AOR, medical passed on 28th July and waiting in IP1 since then. No further updates...

My application is in Ottawa... still N/A ..
May be CEC inland applications entire process takes places in CPC Ottawa.

Same boat here, Meds passed on July 24th and stuck in IP1 ever since... its a little frustrating..
