Not sure if this is true or not but from what I have heard is that Ottawa is facing a huge backlog in stamping passports. Applicants who have sent their passports in last 2 weeks havent received their passports back yet and this is the major reason why IRCC is holding off sending PPRs to applicants who have already been approved.
I believe you are right. This PNP lot is most stressful lot. It took 1 year to get PNP approve (which was meant to be approved in 3 months). and over 6 months now for this. Almost 2 valuable years in PR process. The worst part is, as soon as our PNP'S got approved the points came sliding down..Now there is a backlog. Too many things gone wrong.. Hope it ends well. Patience has already gone bitter, now fruit should have to be sweet.
180th day mark guys, now everybody back home is making fun of me. They are like you have applied PR since we were like 2 years old Lol.

Is it to do with nationality like more stringent back checks ?. I am from Pakistan but I already have my Government Security clearance done for my workplace doesn't make sense. I am going to give them a call today at least.

Guys, I am having this feeling from last night that I might be in that dreaded "PNP secure outstanding" group because of my nationality. Do you believe that every Pakistani has to go through this torture or they look at some other things also.
