I got MR in February but went for the medical examination in March (20th) because I wasn't available then, I got "Medical Passed" update on myCIC on the 10th April 2017. PPR on 30th May (last week). So that makes it there about 1 month and 20 days (50 days) after Medical Passed for the PPR letter to come. 2ndly the only document request I got was for the RPRF which was sent on the same day I got the MR (medical request) letter. I made the payment online 2 days later (Feb 22) and the receipt of payment was uploaded accordingly. There was no request for proof of fund. I hope this infor is of help.
I guess you are already in Canada or on the verge of leaving 9ja. please confirm, cos i heard all 2017 application from Nigeria was passed on to London Visa office.
Today is the first time for me to post something in this group. i got PNP nomination (with job offer) from New Brunswick on 30th of may and my cic application was transferred by NBPNP office to Nova Scotia on 30th of may. According to PNP certificate, CIC will provide me 18 months long work permit before PR. i current residence is London, UK. Still waiting for AOR !
My question to you guys,
# what is the time frame for this work permit?
# After this work permit, will i get PR automatically or do i need to face all this process again?
i would really appreciate for any advice or information.

I submitted March 31st and got AOR June 13, also waiting for medicals. My file is London, though I didn't get a file transfer mail, I called CiC to confirm where my file was transferred to. Your file should be in London too, that is where Nigerians applicants that I know of so far this year files have been taken to. Expect MR soon.

You won't automatically get PR, you have to apply for it as well as the work permit. See PNP package received for details on how to apply.
You have to apply within 6 months of the date on the PNP certificate. You can apply for both the Work permit and PR at the same time... separate packages.
