Once Visa is issued do you know what would be the expiry date?

it is for 6 months. I called up Help Desk,they say since my father was in Army;so they sending to Delhi.I have requested to process here in canada.Let us see. Any one who can suggest what happens for Army service documents etc.

Yesterday my linked account showed with a new message "Medical Report - Section A Client identification and summary (IMM 1017E) June 29, 2017"

And the status of Review of medical results shows: We are reviewing the results of your medical exam.

I have some questions to ask you guys:

1/ I didn't ask mom to do medical just yet but they are reviewing her medical exam?
2/ The form .pdf Medical Report form has a space for picture on the top but it's empty. I heard that the paper form has a stamped picture. Is it normal for the .pdf form not to have a stamped picture?
3/ When will they begin the background check?

1) Dont worry about the message on status, that is standard message when they issue medical request.

2) Dont worry about the picture too, just print and take the request form with you when go to medical checkup.

3) Once you submit medical result and status changed to passed then backgound check will get in progress,
