Has anyone here used their foreign work experience during studies for oinp?

I had a 6-month part-time job at my university during my Masters. I mentioned it in the OINP application but I'm not claiming points for that job.

Hmm I'm claiming points so just wanted to know if anyone else has done it because I worked mixture of full time and part time for 3 years. Couldn't really take out that work experience

I wouldn't worry too much about it of I were you. OINP just needs one year of continuous work experience. The rest is just the icing on the cake.

Yeah I'm just worried about the way I calculated my work experience. Can I pm you if you know this?

There is a question which asks whether we have any relatives or friends in Ontario. I have two friends in Ontario to show strong ties.

Do i have to submit any document or just have to provide their names?

Please advise.

I only provided names and where they reside in ontario. I don't think there can be any documentation for friends

Try to give their PR card number along with their address...

Reference letter could work. I submitted the letter from boss. It worked

I had received Additional Information request for my previous application to FSW and Quebec mon project. Submitted same 2 days back. Any timeline for changing status from waiting for information to further stage as it is already 2 days passes since I send the document?

afaik, this means whoever between you has a CLB score of 7 or above across all metrics ought to apply as the principal; the one with the lower CLB scores applying as the co-applicant.

Hi, I am facing the same dilemma because my wife's CLB is less than 7 and it gives me a message that you are not eligible to apply, but me being th primary applicant with CLB 9 should I proceed?? please advice ASAP as I am in the middle of ONEKEY process.

I have a CRS of 409 and have applied for OINP. Does anyone with a score of 400 or above gets the invite or does if depend on their profession and whether that profession is in demand in Ontario? Your thoughts are welcome.
