Yeah your BG status change is good indication , i also confirmed with someone who received ppr last week and they have had observed similar BG status change transition(s) before DM ... hope we can figure out a common pattern )

Most of people i asked and they got their DM , they all said the Background check didnt changed at all , they saw the DM in Ecas.

Hi All,

I received an email on 12th June, 2017 from IRCC asking the proof of the status of my spouse( as I have informed about my change in marital status). I have sent the scanned copy of the PR card of my spouse on 15th June, 2017 as the proof of his status. However, I still see in application status portal that additional documents are needed and action required . I am not sure what else I should provide or provide at all.

No not yet. Well I do not have my passport with me ( I have sent to to have an other country visa for professional mattee). I will wait an other week and if not received will call the immigration canada.

Another good news about Citizenship. The new bill is passed.

BILL C-6
An Act to amend the Citizenship Act and to make consequential amendments to another Act

the summary is in Canada physically 1095 days in five years and become a citizen
Also if the person is already in Canada before PR, it will count too, up to 365 days.

it means if someone is already in Canada for 2 years, after PR it will only take 2 more years to get citizenship

plus time it will take to apply for citizenship and getting citizenship. It's around 6 months to 2 years.
