I sent a request for gcms notes on may 12 and i received the answer on july 12 lvo haven't start working on my file yet.

Then i would wait about couple of weeks before ordering the notes

My husband got his medical done in December 2016. Now his file is undergoing in background checks which is being processed since 6 months I don't know how much do I have to wait more.

I think as per law you have 3 months for reconciliation after you send a divorce letter to other party and if reconciliation doesn't get succeeded in 3 months then the date of effectiveness would be after those 3 months. for example if someone divorced on 01-jan-2015 and after 90 days things don't get settled the effective date on the union council NADRA certificate would be 01-april-2015. Go to your union council and get all the info, and if you know someone influential people there then it might get done in couple of days.

So declaratioj card will be given to i before landinv on the plane. I guess u declare whether u r carrying wine, arms, food items, cash above 10,000 CAD and stuff in it. I thibk its a checkbox kinda form. Il declate watever i can in it along woth gold jewellry il be carrying. Its easier to strike things off later of the immigration offiver in canada asks u to rather than being questioned for lack of declaring stuff at that moment. Play safe.
Also u end up keepinv a filled bsf186 (i think thats the code) form with u.. it contains very detailed info about the good u have and a list (bsf186 A) of goods to follow. Il make two copies of these and fill them and date them on the day of my flight and keep them with me just in case. It will contain details like formal clothes, cosmetics, kitchen items etc in it...ofcourse also jewellry and all.

@ahsenshah COPR date was 9th June.

Any idea what is the amount that we need to fill out in the declaration card when landing the first time? Is it the value of all the goods with you since it is the first time landing? I know we won't be charged duty on the goods but good to declare everything?

So ur husband:s BG checks commenced as soon as u guys sent over the file in dec 2016?
It has happened woth someone else too. I guess u shud wait a bit cause nov dec files have just been opened. Keep praying and hoping for the best.

I got no message. Just checked today and this is what I see.

Cool. Ur eligibility is passed IA. And u have reached the last stage. iA ul get dm or ppr in a few weeks. Keep ur eye on ecas and mycic

There is a 24 dec applicant on the facebook group who got dm yesterday on ecas.

Iv seen that they do send the atuff back before dm and ppr. Though i have no experience of it myself since our application pack required nothing original

I sent some additional photos and other docs voluntarily last week. I am giving them another week to open those docs and attached them to my file, and then i will apply for notes.

Take my advice.. give them 2-3 weeks to open the atuff and add it to ur file. They r not that swift iv noted
