Once the PR visa is stamped òn passport. How much time (weeks/months) do they give to land in Canada?
Can we land after that time frame?

Hi,

I got my AoR and am waiting for my medical request, I have not received any email. or messages but the status next to my PR application on myCIC says Your Action Is Required. Does anyone know whats going on and whether this is request for medical or just a technical issue or am I required to do some other action ?

Thanks

Hi All,
I sent our passport yesterday (Tuesday) and today (Wednesday) they arrived at CIC Ottawa. I hope they send them back in a couple day.
I have a question about landing process, actually about POF (proof of fund).
What should I do for this? How much money are they accepted in the bank account?
BTW, I am inland applicant and I am planning to go to Lacolle Canada/US border.

Usally the medical expiry date will be the visa Expiry date which ultimately will be the deadline to enter canada

Their system upgrade got screwed up and they are still in process of fixing it. All you can do from your side is call them and ask them if you really need to submit any document or not. You can also open a technical issue.

I opened a technical issue a week back and this is what they replied. I opened another technical issue with them today regarding "Additional Document" status. Hopefully they will reply in a week or two.

UN MESSAGE EN FRANÇAIS SUIVRA.

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

The message that you have indicated in your email is indeed the result of a technical problem that has now been resolved. You should see a new message indicating that, if you need a medical exam, a message with instructions will be sent to you. Please try again.

If you do not see this change, we invite you to fill out the IRCC Web form and include:

· Screen shots of your account including:

o the Welcome Page,

o the sections titled View my submitted applications or profiles and Account messages.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Sincerely,

Hello dear APPNOV2014NY

I have also raised a request for the technical issue and has also provided the screenshot of MyCic account showing that additional documents required . so when can I expect any revert from their side?

Today received RPRF REQUEST AND paid immediately...when can I expect Medical and BC ...AOR 28 FEB 2017
Are u inland ?? Cuz thats weird ... we first receive the medical ... then bc is initiated ... and RPRF if not paid in advance.
Or they are done with your background at this stage and they are sure that if ur medical is passed u r getting PPR.... since the whole process takes about 11 months max.... your case is totally different and hard to predict.
