Not so good news for my application. After waiting for 4 months, got a message that we are not eligible for express entry and asked to check the attachment for more details. But the attachment is blank, anyone else experienced the same before? What should I do now, how can I know the reason for rejection and also is there any use if I re-apply?
I think we are on the same boat. You can read my sentiments on this thread (page 786-787). My application was in the pool for 6 months but got an email from CIC that my FSW entry is no longer eligible but I am definitely sure that I am qualified. The attachment did not specify the reason and it only says to following:
To qualify for Express Entry, you must meet the minimum eligibility criteria for the Federal Skilled Worker
Program, and/or the Federal Skilled Trades Program and/or the Canadian Experience Class. Based on the
information you gave in your profile, you do not appear to meet the minimum eligibility criteria for any of these
programs at the moment.
Below are a few examples of why a candidate will be found ineligible:
• not having a valid language test,
• language test results that are more than two years old,
• a language test score that is too low,
• not having enough relevant work experience,
• not having the required education level,
• not having enough funds.
Please, I am currently studying for my master's degree in Canada since September 2016. I used my Bachelor's degree n my three years works experience to check whether I am eligible for the Express Entry and I was deemed eligible. I have proceeded to do the ECA and the IELTS. And also have received a reference letter from my former employer (Headmaster- since I was a Teacher) confirming my experience.
My question is, do I still have to show the same amount of Funds (in the POF) as someone who is not currently residing in Canada? Besides, I have a study permit that allows me to work a maximum of 20hrs/wk when registered full-time and work full-time during breaks. How much funds to I show in my account?
Thanks for your response in advance.
In filling out the Personal history section, just trying to make a few corrections and i cant seem to add organization as a heading for Activity type. It is one of the options but it brings up a warning sign " Warning
Any period of time you indicate as being a member of an organization will not count as part of the 10-year personal/address history you are required to provide. "
problem is when I filled this part a week ago, this warning was not there.
Does anyone know if anything has changed in this regard
If so how will one add a volunteer position in personal history??. eg under what activity type

The key instruction here is family members that have not been mentioned in the application, or something like that.
So you and your spouse need to mention your parents and siblings. Don't mention each other as you are already in the application.
For you child don't mention anyone as both his parents are in the application already. So answer Yes to the question have you told us about all his family members and move on.
I was just giving a final check to the information I've provided before submitting. But , surprisingly i found some information missing. Although in summary page everything was showing completed.Even the educational history, my passport details which were already in EE profile pre-ITA stage are missing. What to do now? I have to add all these data before final submission. Do I need to provide these information again by filling up OR there are some way around to get these things automatically filled up ?
I am filling out my Express Entry profile and have the following queries. It will be great if anyone can guide.
1) ECA - Got it done through IQAS for my undergraduate - Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) which is a 3 year degree. ECA certificate states my degree as 'Bachelor of Business Administration - Four Year Undergraduate Program'. On my inquiry, they said that countries have different criteria for BBA Honours degrees which they can't validate hence they have classified it as a 4 year program and not mentioned the word 'Honours'.
On filling the EE profile, which degree name should I mention, the one on my degree or that stated on the ECA certificate? Since I have also got my MBA validated by IQAS, is there a need to mention my undergraduate degree in the relevant section for EE profile?
2) Work Experience - I have worked for 3 different organizations during the last 10 years. However, it might be an issue to get JD documents from my 2nd employer. I have worked with this employer for 1.5 years. However, my stay with my first employer was for 8 years and I started my new job 3 months back. Should I mention the 2nd employer details?
3) Work History for Secondary Applicant - My wife is a banker. She is a Product Manager for Credit Cards. Can anyone assist in identifying the NOC? I am not sure if the NOC code 0122 would work. Please guide.
visit WES's website - it has detailed step by step instructions on what documents are needed depending on which university you studied in, and also gives instructions on how to send the documents... its extremely detailed

I would normally recommend only masters be evaluated, but some masters degree they sometimes only evaluate as bachelors, or something lower. If you evaluate bachelors also they can give "2 or more degrees" which fetches higher points.
spouse education evaluation is not mandatory, however i would strongly recommend you get it evaluated since it gives you extra points
and yes - her WES evaluation thingy will be separate also
My wife had 8 months of Part Time Teaching Experience in 2013.She has been unemployed since then.I've added her job experience in express entry profile. However, it has been found out that CIC wants Job experience Letter for that too. I think it will not be possible to get the Experience Document from her past employer. What should I do now? Should I delete her job experience from everywhere?OR should I give an LOE why it can't be produced?
Thanks
