I submitted my pp in vfs khi on 23 may. Iv bn asked to pik it up on monday i.e 12 june :)
Can someone please confirm if the following documents are sufficient for submission at VFS Karachi:
- Passport
- Completed Appendix A (that came with PPR)
- PR photos (as requested in the PPR)

- Do that ask for anything other than those noted above? What is the fee and how long does it take for them to return the passport (in general)?

Can anyone comment on this strategy? Seems like a win-win if it works, since you get to live together or signal urgency.
Hi,

I didn't apply for any visa and got the decision made few days ago. I applied on October 25th and file went in process on November 20th as I re-submitted the travel history on 11th November.
Currently they are processing the Oct-Nov applicants so I don't think that visit visa has helped the applicant a lot. But definitely if you want then give it a try.

Thanks..

Hi guys!

Need some help here. If anyone can help me PLEASE, I ll be really thankful.

As I am staying in Pakistan throughout the process, CIC will most likely ask me for "Proof of intent to return to Canada". Now I have a Job offer here in Canada, the employer wants to write me a letter so I can send it to CIC as per request, but we want the letter to be written properly as per the standards of CIC, Can anyone provide me with a sample letter or give me an idea how the letter should be written that I have a Job waiting for me when i return to Canada with my wife.

Thanks!

Hi everyone,

I am an Aug 26, 2016 applicant. I got a re-medical request on May 9,2017 and medical was done on 17th May. Since then i did not receive anything from cic no additional documents request. I sent an inquiry a week ago but never received an answer. My husband has Muhammad Hafiz in his name I don't know if its taking longer because of this. It has been 10 months since I applied. Please advise as to what i should do next.

Thanks

No that is not the case at all. It seems that husband's background checks take more time as compared to wife's sponsorship. Hang in there!

Hmm if u ask me i think visit visa application has nothing to do with the speeding up of the process. MM345 also applied for the visit visa which was rejected. Yet their PPR came in 8.5 months. What matters more is the fact that u visit ur spouse. Visit proof is a SOLID support of ur case in mu opinion. So all those who can, shud plan a visit to their spouses after a while of filing the application and send voluntary proofs to LVO of that. :)

Hmm... ok so if we go by the stuff we have read on forums, yes it does complicate the case a bit i think. However, u shudnot loose hope. If ur divorce papers are all sorted and submitted and ur current relationship proof i strong i dont see any hurdle in ur case. :)
Nov applicants are hearing from LVO these days however not all of them have and trust me when i say this, that u need to worry once u cross the 9 month mark. For now relax and pray. :)

Yes, like me who hasn't heard the slightest news from LVO. I emailed them again in May, and haven't received any response. My lawyer just keeps telling me to wait, but I mean everyone's flies have gotten some updates, but nothing for my end. Running out of options now.

Did you submit these proofs with the application when applying. Not the job offer ofcourse as you might not have had it that time but other things like letters from friends and family knowing your plans, letters from family who're there already, offering you a place to stay for the initial settling in period, rental searches, a letter from you to the visa officer explaining "your plan" of how you intend to re-establish life in Canada, living off savings till you get a job, your employment potential, your research screenshots of newcomer agencies, screenshots of travel insurance to cover for the initial months until your provincial health cover kicks in and so on..

If you did all that in the start its not necessary that they'll ask you for proof of intent to return to canada at this stage. So did you?
