Joeythecat - pls ask your fiancee to check ECAS (https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/) for the status of her application or her junk email folder if she got any email, usually as I have experienced they open applications within 2 or 3 weeks or after a month of receiving it.

Only PR application (correction). I can see that they assigned client numbers to my dependants but no movement in term of Eligibility Letter or medical request yet.

Hi i2016 ! I initially planned on using the new pathway but ended up submitting my application using the old pathway. ICAS is taking forever to assess my credentials and I don't want to waste more time. I submitted last Dec 19. Got an an email from cic that they recvd my application Dec 29. Hoping that it won't take long.
Question for Max 821 - Under what program have you applied for the PR? Old pathway or new? I applied under the LCP program old pathway Option 2, sent documents on December 7, 2016 but have not received an email from CIC confirming that they started processing.
Hi guys, does the case processing centre in Vegreville Alberta return open work permits when they return pr application that is incomplete? Because the first time that I have submitted the pr with the open work permit application was last march 2017, and the application for pr was returned without the open work permit application, and again when I resubmitted my pr application only last April that was returned to me again last May without any open permit application.
Did you mean they received your application indicated on the cic website or just the courier? Because I submitted using the old pathway like you, actually my 3rd attempt last May 17, 2017 received in Vegreville thru fedex courier, no email or anything. I'll tell you one thing though, my 2nd application attempt was submitted last April 6, 2017 and I saw the application appeared briefly on ECAS (online status) and then disappeared after that I received my whole application for PR and I immediately re-submitted last May 17, 2017. Up to now I haven't received any email and there is no status showing up on ECAS.
