I have the same changes as people are talking about. I was not asked any additional documents, I did have a LOE though.

I know that applicants with AOR 3rd April have started getting medical passed. Lets hope ours come soon.

I am april 18 so i think will have to wait at least another 2 weeks

My timelines is as follows-
ITA-April 5
AOR-April 6
Med pass- April 27

No changes/updates since then.... is this common?

AOR - 7th April...

Only change in the status is me and my dependent's UCI (box empty) added....

Rest no change...!

One of my fiend told me that many applications have been received, they are updating the portal, but processing is going on...

I hope we all will receive PPR by end of June or early July....

Yea PCC instructions for some countries seem to be slightly outdated. I know for UAE they accept e-PCC (heard people who got PR via EE after submitting e-PCC) and there is no stamp, just e-signature. And there are instructions on how to verify the validity or authenticity of the e-PCC (which i'm guessing CIC does for all PCCs, whether electronic or not, don't quote me though, i'm just speculating this).

Countries like Kazakhstan, CIC specifically mentions on its website that it does not allow online (or electronic) PCC. Therefore, the applicant from such a country should only get a physical PCC.

Thanks for your reply. Finally we found a way. They issue certificate with electronic signature if is send by email but with stamp if is sent by post. Before we choose by mail because we aren't in Portugal, but now we applied for a new one to be send to a friend there by post. So fixed!

BG status after medical passed was "Your application is in progress next step is to conduct background check" Now its changed to Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.

I dont remember the exact wording. But it said " Additional documents you provided are being reviewed".

One thing to note is that i never submitted any additional documents after my AOR. I guess CIC has changed the steps etc.

When an applicant applies from within Canada he falls under -inland category.

When an applicant applies outside of Canada - he falls under outland.
