Hi all
I have a question.
I didn't received PPR or COPR, but it will come soon I think.
My question is something different.
On April 27, after I get my OPW, I applied for TRV and paid the fee (for two people 200CAD). And, of coursei, I didn't get any news about this aplication.
So, in a couple day, when the PPR come, I don't need this TRV.
Wath shoudI do?
Shoud I call them and cancel my TRV aplication and ask my money back? Or what?
Any suggestion?

I don't know if it is just me or this is happening with everyone else. My GCkey interface has changed. In the details section of my PR application profile under view my application profile show" your action is required" but messages still indicate none/ Now i open the profile and now i noticed a few changes. Now above you have your name , your UCI, date application was received and application type. In the details they have added the fingerprint and biometric section. then for medicals they said they have requested medicals and asked me to check messages but no message received . don't know if its a new update or if its a system issue. Everything else has not changed

As posted on some other threads CIC had some IT outage ...and if you go through earlier post in this thread many people are facing this issue ...looks to be some system problem ... from bio metrics it appears they are planning to introduce that as check soon....

Am I doing it right? it would be update and sorted by itself or I have to change my position in the table manually or some one like an admin or something will do such things? I mean according to my timeline.

Hello gnole,
First of all, one can ask to close/refund/cancel any CIC application if its not yet processed. In your case its already processed. So no way you gonna get your app' fees back.
Secondly, you have to send your PP as a part of process to get your TRV. But dont worry, after you get your DM, it takes time to get PPR for PR.
meantime, you should have already got your Passport back with TRV, by the time you get your PPR. So yea, kinda unlucky that they already processed your TRV application, but now dont mess it up by not sending your Passport.

I know few people face similar issue but this is what I see in my myAccount page:

Review of additional documents We need additional documents to process your application. Check your messages below for details.

my medical result I think was passed before but now it changed to new message. however I did not receive any new message for what type of document they asked me.
however my medical exam should be expired since I submitted one year ago

Looks there are some changes on the My CIC application page, but still no further updates yet...

on myCIC, it shows that they are still reviewing eligibility and processing background check. Is it normal? (AOR on Nov.24, 2016)

''We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.''

Anyway, it is good that they conform ''You passed the medical exam"; "We do not need additional documents"; " You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes."; "We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes."
