Her husband that apply in march from South Africa already got a passport request. I'm so upset coz here I am 9 month and some days and I'm still waiting !! She apply 3 month and got passport request. I just feel like We African are suffering from been black!! Because other country are not like this !! They don't denial them and they work on their application fast!!
I just feel like crying and regret that my hubby Application is sent to Ghana .

I.m new here. Hi everyone! I live in Canada for 7 years now. My wife decided to sponsor me. But we used the outland sponsorship which has been sent to AVO. we are part August applicants and it's been 9months now but no sign from Accra. So I was wondering if any of you are also August applicant and if you have received any update of your application. Thanks!

I have checked and there's an update but I think it's for everybody. They only added biometric. And they said my additional documents are being reviewed as well.
My update was for medicals and the new biometrics line. Someone else had update for additional docs request but we didn't get any emails or letters as we should have. People from different countries have also reported seeing medical requests so we won't know if it's for real or an error till probably the end of the week.

Guys, I also applied in August 2016. Aug 24th to be precise. I am PNP paper based applicant (not FSW).
tisrod you an EE or paper based applicants?
I am asking because you said you did upfront medical in Aug 2016 - the same month you applied.
Which means you have to have the visa and land in Canada before August this year otherwise the medical will expire.
