Guys those who are feeling that they haven't heard from lvo in more than 6-8 months please email them and ask for a status update.

It worked in my case..even though they told me that my case was in queue for review, I think my email woke them up and I got ppr 12 days after my email.

Just took your advice and sent an e-mail to LVO. Fingers crossed!

My application is filed on 15 novmber 2016...during last 6 months my PR status shows INPROCESS ...no update mo comments no e-maik...Is there any way i can contact with visa office ...and if i contact them through e-mail for further documents such as new pics new bills and tickets of my wife during her visit to me ...is it good for our case or not to contact them

Can anyone help. When my sponsor check the status on On Line Services, it shows that " We sent you some correspondence on May 26........." but still neither we see any message on my linked application nor received any email.
Same showing on my spouse "we sent you correspondence on May 24............." ,but she did not see any msg or doc request on her linked application , nor she received any email from them.
My question why CIC updated on our accounts if CIC still did not sent any thing. When should We expect to receive these both letters which on line status showing that they sent us.

October applicant got thier re -medical or PPR ..i think soo u have to send them an e-mail...asking about your status...

ok. see if u have one or more of the following pictures to show rukhsati (im assuming this is the part ur worried about):

• picture of bride entering the car..relatives behind her.
• bride and groom together in the car
• pictires of bride groom entering the house for any customs
• pictures for post rukshati/nikkah customs at the house..in which bride and groom are present
• photoshoot in room etc.

I am trying to estimate when i will receive my PP back.

Oh boy! I repeat DONOT send 20-30 pics.. when they write 20-30 pics u also need to understand that Pak is one country whose files r closely vetted for fraud marriages. Do u really think u can assess anyone's relationship in 20 photos? I dont think so..atleast i wouldnot.
Better to send 50-70 pics.. max that will happen is that they woll shred it! Let them. But if u get a add doc request later trust me ur process will becum.painfully slow. Expect delays of upto 3 months on cases witj add doc requests.
We had a limit on photo numbers but we skipped it. I sens around 70. Very carefully chosen. My majority pics were witj family. Group.photos, selfies at posr marriage parties etc. Shadi ones were when we signed nikaah nama, ppl gathered around making dua after nikkah, group photos of both sides, rukhsati pics in the car, doodh pilai and kheer chatai rasm, cake cutting.and getting out of the car. Point is pivs shud be representative of the entire event. Like a brief walk of all the events on that day

The New checklist asks you to only submit 20 pictures, it actually says "Maximum of 20 pictures". I am really confused if I should send more. I know under the old process they had a suggestion of 30 something pics but did not limit you.

So how you came to know about the update in your status? You got any email notification or just randomly checked and found out?

For status updates u barely get emails. So check ecas and gckey daily

Don't they take cases sequence wise? October applicants aren't being given any update and they are dealing with November ones already? I am very worried now :'(

There is no pattern here. I think sooner or later u will hear back IA hang on

Hmmm r u sure ur app is linked to the right emaik id? U provided the correct email ids on ur forms? Cross check again. If u did then email LVO and sens them a case sepcific inquiry at the same time about the missing correspondence. Oh yes also check ur spam

Please do email and courier them the visit proof! It helps strengthen ur case so much. I personally think it helped me lots.
