Any one submitted the application yet? Dis you received Canada post confirmation? i am of the idea that since its a PO Box so no one will be there to sign for receiving......

Hello, i sent it on the 10th, got confirmation of signature on the 11th. They do sign for it, if you requested signature confirmation. Did you check your tracking?

Hello Everyone,

I am filling up forms for my mother.On eIMM5669E Background declaration form,I am required to fill up my Mother's parents date of birth.
She does not remember the date/month.Guide does say to use *(asterisk) if you do not remember date of birth.
I have tried using the * in place of date and month but the form does not allow.
Has anyone come across this problem?
Any help is appreciated.

I'm also having the same issue with this form. In the guide it is mentioned that *(asterisk) allows you to leave the DOB blank but with this form doesn't validate. Was anyone able to validate this form using * or leaving it blank? It's a paper based application so is it really required to have validated form?

How about writing 'not applicable' ?

- Does the sponsor have to continue to live in Canada and earn enough income until the application is finalized?

Yes, you need to assign yourself as the representative if you out your address for your parents' mailing address.

Yes, fill out the Rep form.

Check the 2015 and 2016 parent sponsorship threads for recent timelines.

Yes, you must be living in Canada and meet LICO until your parents actually land.
