Hi All,
I have submitted the application on 12th Dec after receiving an ITA. I have got the request to pay Landing fees and I have done the same on 11th April 2017.
Is anyone aware how much time it might take to get the Visa Grant Letter. I read some where it will be less than one month but now its more than 45 days still no news. Little worried !!!!
Please help me with this question..
In EE profile, I replied to the question (has XXX applied to IRCC before?) with no... I study in Canada with a study permit!
Now I got ITA.. some ppl say the answer to this question should be yes.. is it true?
Can I fix this now after ITA or my application will be rejected! I havent submitted my application yet.. score very low and cant go back to pool...
Further, my education section shows that am a student in canada and this clearly means that I have a study permit!
PLEASE HELP...

Not an issue. Just say YES in you PR application and enter the relevant details. In you LOE you can mention that you said NO in error.
Best of luck
Hey Seniors,
I just got my PCC. I have lived under two addresses during the past 10 years. however, the PCC only states my current address for the past 10 years.
it reads as follows:
this is to certify that Mr. X , National ID Number: xxx, address: (Current Address), has not come to the adverse notice of the Sri Lanka Police during the period from 01/01/1996 to 28/02/2012, 01/03/2012 to 05/05/2017 according to our records.
(Signed)
Inspector General of Police.
does the PCC have to state all the addresses I lived in my home country?

But it hasn't stat
But it hasn't stated my first address. I'm a bit worried. I asked a police in charge and he said that that was the format.
but then why would they state two periods without mentioning both addresses. I'm a bit worried.

If that is their standard format CIC will have seen thousands of them.
A number of countries, including mine dont even mention an address. The UK PCC also just mention your current address, so don't worry.

Hi All,
Any idea that LOE is an optional or mandatory section while submitting the PR application. In my case its appearing as (required). Can anyone suggest the reason for the same?
Thanks
I don't know but it's definitely optional.
Ok, that's strange then.
Anyway, I would like to know that COPR(Visa) validity is based upon which document i.e. How much validity do they offer to enter the country?

Hi. I am not a lawyer, but I think it's because of your NOC.
I am sorry to say that a noc 1311 is not considered a high skilled job, thus it's not eligible experience for Express Entry
A job to be considered eligible has to have a NOC code with either a 0 as first digit, or a 1 or 2 as SECOND digit if the first digit is not 0.
I think that's the problem.
I wish you all the best
i didnt understand why the application was rejected due to insufficient points... were the points not calculated correctly previously ?
what was the cut off when you applied back then ? and what is the current score now ? reason being last cutoff was 415 so there is a good chance you will get through with entire family instead of applying solo...
I applied under FSW 2010 and minimum eligible points are 67 but now express entry takes place and I am able to reach score but because of some obvious reasons, I like to apply myself only but I'm not sure how to process. I will send you pm if you want details. thanks for your support.

Why is that ? In the "skill level" column it clearly states B. Where did you get the information about numbers ? Give us a link
Hey Friends,
I need advice on the below -
I believe passport need to have at least 2 years validity from the date of application. I hope I am correct? what I am confused about is - is it the requirement for all the family members (my spouse and son as well), or only me as the prime applicant?
What in case one does not have a Birth Certificate - Does the X (Tenth Standard Certificate) work?
Thanks, Regards,
