Hello people I want to ask 1 imp question.
My crs score.is 473 and I have not yet started the process. today I sent documents to Wes and got the reference number. With that reference number I can create profile. I assume if I create profile I will get ita in the next draw because my score is good. But I have problem with the funds I don't have funds available with me and I have heard the amount in bank should be 6 months old. If I will get ita then I need to upload proof of funds and it will not be 6 months old. It will be like 15-20 days old.
Should I transfer money into my account and wait for 6 months or should I start the process.
I really could nt understand why you guys wanted to put bank statements as proof of funds.. CIC will never ask you for the statements they only ask for the letter which shows outstanding balance and debts.

they dont care if it is 6 months old or something. you will be good as long as you having it currently in your account:
These funds could be in the form of:

  • cash,
  • documents that show property or capital payable to you (such as stocks, bonds, debentures, treasury bills, etc.), or
  • documents that guarantee payment of a set amount of money, which are payable to you (such as bankers’ drafts, cheques, travellers’ cheques or money orders).

You are correct in saying that CIC want a bank letter, however they can ask for a bank statement at any time.

"they dont care if it is 6 months old or something. you will be good as long as you having it currently in your account:"

The above is wrong and may lead to rejection. CIC want to know the average balance and the current balance. If there is a significant difference between the two they would need to know the source of your funds. You can not just have an unexplained influx of funds into your account.

The above is also incorrect. It is stated in reference to funds that must be declared to immigration when entering Canada, not to POF when applying for PR.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

One can not submit property documents as POF. They must be liquidated first.

No, it won't cause problems at all. Just mention it in your LOE. To them it is irrelevant information so they do not need any evidence of it. This is why you can move it to personal history.

Regards
Ok, what should I mention in the LOE. Is there any template for the same.

1) Also for Digital photo upload, do we need to upload 2 photographs? And with the information of the photographer to be included on the back of the photo as well?
2) For surname change of my spouse post marriage, do I need to upload the Post Marriage Name difference legal document in the "Other Names" section for her. Also where do I need to upload the Birth Certificates?

3) I have recently joined a new organization. Its difficult to obtain the reference letter from them mentioning my duties and responsibilities. However, I have the offer letter and the salary slips. But For the earlier organizations, I have all the relevant documents available(mentioned in the EE profile
). How should I handle this scenario? Will the offer letter + salary slips from current employer suffice?

3) When i.e in which scenario should I use the letter of explanation(LOE).Can you share any format for the same how to write it.

4) Once I complete the forms and generate the document checklist, can I still go back and update the forms.

Request you to reply asap as my date of submission is nearing.

Thanks

Mention that you had enter her experience in EE profile but have moved it since it gives no points.

1) No this instruction is for when you receive PPR. In PR application you only upload 1 picture without any information.
2) Yes you do.
Birth certificates are not required for adults.
3) You can just move it to personal history if you have not claimed points for it. Otherwise, you will need to a notarised reference letter from a superior, or in the worst case a colleague.
4) Whenever you want to give extra information that you feel is important. No standard format, just a letter with clear and logical headings.
5) Yes you can. Every time you log in it will take you there.

Best of luck

Thanks for your quick response. Some more clarifications needed:-
For point 3 above, No, I haven't claimed points for it. This information was not there in the EE profile on which ITA is received. Also, due to lack of time its difficult to arrange the notarized or official reference letter now. So is it absolutely ok to move this work exp. to personal history and explain in LOE that I can't obtain the reference letter because of just 3 months about being in the existing organization? Hopefully they will not object to it.

For point 1:- This digital photo requirement is mentioned on the CIC document checklist page only. Hence wanted to confirm, because I believe the same photo which we upload now will be utilized when issuing the PR card. Please confirm again.

Another point is :- In the reference letter from Employers, is it necessary that all the positions held with that employer are mentioned. What if they have mentioned only the last designation with them and we can provide other supporting documents indicating designation change like Movement to other department, Promotion etc.

Dear Experts,
I have two questions for EE.Can you take time and look at them so that I can start applying my profile.

1.As to working experience outside of Canada, they mentioned 1560 hour equivalent to 1year ( 30 hours/week). However, in my country, a week takes up 40 hours of us and I actually had 3 years and 7 months in total ( approx 3,58y). Can I convert my total working year according to Canada definition which means 3,58 x 40/30 = 4.7 Canda working years

2.For language, they clarify the first and second official lang. Is it for English and France respectively?

1) Yes this is perfectly fine. Just put it in personal history. You don't have to explain anything. So people claim points for jobs they did 5 years ago and mention the rest in personal history. So it's normal.
2) It's not exactly the same photo. Even the sizes can be different. This one must be at least 35mm x 45mm.

The letter only need to mention the relevant positions i.e. the ones you are claiming points for.
