we should wait at-least 3 month patiently by seeing the current trend , as they have not able to process the Student Permit for MAY intake students who applied in FEB/MARCH/APR , many of them still waiting for decision. SOWP is least priority for them , we can only pray to the GOD and wait patiently.

I did go through the study permits thread. There are quite a few people still waiting with some opting for september with their colleges. I dont see why that should be a deterrent since a person i know had applied twice in the gap of which i applied for my SOWP. The first time he was rejected in 3 weeks and the second, he applied almost immediately and guess what, he got his visa stamped in a matter of a week and a half.
I cant seem to work out a pattern here

Are any inquiries yielding results or giving an idea as to whats happening? Mine is a paper based application and am not sure how an inquiry can be made.
You can start by telling what you do and what your wife does. What is your and your intention of living in Canada. Also mention that you will ONLY STAY will the end of your work permit and make sure to SHOW STRONG ties with home country. let me know if you have any further questions.
I have applied for my PGWP permit extension(i did not get 3 years because of my passport expiry) along with my wife's OWP on march 14, 2017.
I got update today that my work permit has been approved but no update yet for my wife's open work permit(without medical)
