Hi guys, I just have a question about OWP AND AIP. If you have both of those during an inland spousal application, can you leave Canada and re enter or does it impact the pending application negatively? Thank you!
You can leave... It's up to CBSA to let you back in or not. Also if you leave for an extended period... Seems more than a month, they can pull your app. If CBSA refuses entry, your app would be considered abandoned.

@profiler: So looking at the trend, do you think they have divided 2016 into 2 sub-segments (Jan-Jun, July-Dec)? In that case June will be processed last.
as example to prove the residency, they said it could be T4, bank statements, letter of employment, letter from the university confirming she was a full-time student,... So easy to prove, but one more step to do in a year.
yes but why would you? the AIP is what you get around the same time as the SA correct? from being 12months + inland.. why not just wait the couple months for PR instead of spending what it would cost for the OWP application that could also take a few months for approval?

Hello,
So my husband is here in Canada as a refugee claimant, and me and him got married. So we started out sponsorship application process. Before 7 years ago he got deported back to his home country from Thailand.
Would that create a big issue right now for our sponsorship process?
