Medicals passed: March 10, 2017
Background check: IP(1) March 10, 2017
PPR: May 2, 2017
Passport delivered: May 4, 2017
Passport received: waiting

My background check never changed after going to IP(1).

What's happening CIC, no updates this week

@lagbaja02 - yeah I checked everyday, and it never changed after the initial change to IP(1).
@adrlim - no change in my account still. Still says application in process. As rg74 mentioned, I believe it'll change once the application gets approved.

Hi,

I got a document request from CIC on Monday. They asked me to ask WES to send them a duplicate report for my degree evaluation from WES. So I went to WES website and requested to let CIC verify the Ddegree, which WES confirmed on Tuesday that CIC has access now. But in my account, it still says an action is required from you. Does anyone have any idea, what to do next?

Probably wait a while as sometimes it takes a while for things to get updated. Probably system may not be automated. Like when I was asked to upload RCMP i had to do the upload at my end and once that was completed the status changed to uploaded. Think its automated for that. Since your's is from another party WES, i would think the officer would need to initiate the change in the system

Thanks the notes were ordered on 8th April and the date on the GCMS notes is 12th April. I've been stuck on IP2 for some time. I can only assume that security checks are taking some time on my case.

Yes, it shouldn't be that long. You have been stuck at IP2 since 30 Mar that's why your report dated 12 Apr has all the info as completed. It shouldn't be long. All the best
