wtf, LVO is still as slow as it was a year ago. i thought they would've sped things up by now.

I feel its slower than last year.

Does anyone know how long it takes for LVO to respond after a reply for additional documents/procedural fairness has been submitted?

LVO its totally unpredictable. We dont know how long will they take to review the stuff you sent. You should wait for a month and order GCMS notes to see progress on your file. When did LVO receive your stuff?

It is definitely slower than last year. 2015 applicants were lucky i must say, atleast majority of them.
LVo has been working on June July files since bloody Dec 2016! over 5 months and still thet have not wrapped up those cases let alone open up newer ones!
In urdu let me say sitaray gardish main hain hum Aug Sept 2016 applicants kay!

it took them 9 months just to open my wife's file and request any missing docs. she had her PPR about 30 days after that.

you guys are still under that time frame, so stay on top of them but don't stress just yet.

The problem is that people are getting PPR in an average of 11 months based on past 20 decisions.

I 100% agree with u buddy. I am in Canada at present and God knows the challenges are massive. From getting a job to house prices which has gone up by 35% in the last yeah. Even getting an interview is an uphill task. I honestly think a lot of people are in for a shock. So people relax charge your batteries cause you gonna need it. All that being said I still wish LVO will hurry up

Unfortunately Pakistani applicants have not been so lucky..so far no Aug applicant from pakistani spreadsheet as a DM.

Yes enjoy the heat with HOURS of power outages in 38-40 degrees Celcius...errr.. sorry no fun here... mangoes...ummm not fond of them either...Im sure IA il b able to have some Indian or pakistani ones there too.
While u may be right about enjoying Pakistan, there are some people who have had enough of enjoyment without their spouses. Ramadan is around the corner, for me personally it was supposed to be a time where i spiritually bond with my partner and family. Eid is another major festival which every couple enjoys together but im not so sure whether il even be there to attend any potluck dinners or lunches with my partner and in laws. So yes, it is indeed a perspective which differs from person to person. Not everyone is as happy about waiting for several months or maybe even a year without their partners and trying to look up at things in this sweltering heat. Oh even more importantly, not to mention the stress families and particularly parents have when they see their daughters/sons living apart from their spouses.
Having said all that, i totally agree with you when u say that time passes slower when we wait. I wish i was a more positive person On days when im not, i look up to this forum for venting.. After all this place is not only about the spreadsheet but also about moral support

Sigh.. sorry to hear all that..I have a pretty fair idea about the challenges prevalent in Canada these days specially the soaring property prices and employment issues.
.. but trust me life is not easy anywhere in the world...be it UK or Canada or Pakistan or US... each country has its own struggles...Im sure u have read and heard about the issues we face in Pakistan too.. killer heat waves, power outages, rising inflation, fuel crisis, security issues, severe employment issues even for MBAs graduating from one of the best business schools in the country.like me...Life is all about struggles for everyone.. few get it easy...and they are among the very very lucky ones.
However, i firmly believe that when ur partner's support and presence significantly helps in coping life stressors better. Let us hope that God makes our process a quick one and makes it easier for us to settle down in Canada

They received it on the 1st of May. Will wait till the end of the month and then order notes and reach out to MP to see if any progress has been made on it.
